Ever since OneWest Bank became a member of the FDIC back in March of this year, their online rates have been some of the highest in the nation. Last week OneWest Bank introduced a new online CD special for terms of 10 to 18 months at a competitive rate of 2.15% APY. The minimum deposit for this account is $5,000.
Another great CD offering is their “Keep Your Options Open CD” which allows you to max out the principal balance up to $100,000, as well as make penalty-free withdrawals. The APY and term for this account are: 1.90% APY/12 month. Lastly, OneWest has increased the rate on their $10,000 E-Money Market Account option from 1.25% to 1.85%.
